Summer Visit: “Dunsden Nature Reserve Culm Grassland, wild flowers and butterflies”.
Steve Threlkeld, Reserves Officer of the Devon Wildlife Trust will be leading a Walk at Dunsdon National Nature Reserve OS SS 302 080) near Pancrasweek, Holsworthy, EX22 7JW.
We hope to see the rare endangered marsh fritillary butterfly. You will definitely see fields of purple moor grass, orchids. Some 189 species of flowering plant have been counted here including lesser butterfly orchids, petty whin and whorled caraway.
