Visit to Ashley Court (Exeter Branch)
16 May 2018 at 2:00 pm
This year’s country house visit is to Ashley Court, a small Grade II listed Regency Villa near Tiverton. The house was originally built by local wool merchant, John Upcott, and was enlarged in 1805. Its well preserved interiors contain the original floors, fireplaces, plaster work, windows, and a decorative ironwork balcony. External features include a stable block, lodge cottage, a walled garden and a woodland walk.
Refreshments will be served.
Please note that this is a half-day excursion using private cars. Booking is required.
