Writing history and historical fiction – how do you tell the truth about the past? (Lit & Art Section)

16 June 2018 at 2:30 pm

Dr Ian Mortimer, who lives on Dartmoor, is a distinguished mediaeval historian and widely-acclaimed author of biographies, novels and poetry.

He is perhaps best-known for his very successful Time Traveller’s Guides to history, which have had many editions here and abroad. The first, ‘the Time Traveller’s Guide to Mediaeval England’ was a Folio Society choice in 2013.

Ample tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Parking, behind the church, is free.
