A talk by Captain David Parson MNM.
Have you ever wondered who looks after the major lighthouses around England, Wales and the Channel Islands? How did they come to be there in the first place? Incorporated by Royal Charter by Henry VIII in 1514, Trinity House is today a vital part of Britain’s maritime community.
In this fascinating and entertaining talk, Captain David Parsons MNM will tell us more about its history and the important work it is still involved in today.
The talk will be preceded by a short Annual General Meeting.
Entry is £3 members. £4 non members, card payment preferred. Includes refreshments.
Note the change of venue while the Manor Pavilion is being renovated.
