A walk along the Stover Canal (S Devon Branch)

A continuation of last year’s walk along part of the Templer Way. This time from Teigngrace up to Ventiford Basin. There is plenty to see and the walk will be guided by Paul Taper of the Stover Canal Trust. The going is level: boots are not a requirement and it is possible to walk the whole way on tarmac.
The walk is 2.4 miles long and starts and finishes in the Sibelco car-park on the Old Exeter Road at grid reference 858734 (it’s not marked on the OS map). You should aim to be in the car-park (or on the road outside if full) by 1.20pm ready to walk by 1.30pm.
For DA members, the cost is £5 for the walk only, £10 for the walk and a cream tea. Non-members are welcome for a supplement of £2 and £4 respectively.
