Another church crawl with Todd Gray (Bideford Branch)

This time, we focus on three Grade I listed churches at Braunton, Swimbridge and Marwood. Lunch to be taken at Marwood Gardens.

Provisional itinerary and timing (timings and order are subject to change)

11:00 Meet at St Brannock’s Parish Church, Braunton
11:15 Tour and talk
12:00 Meet at St Michael and all Angels Parish Church, Marwood
12:45 Optional visit to Marwood Hill Gardens opposite the church – an additional concessionary admission charge of £6 will be payable

Lunch (optional) at Marwood Hill Gardens. A booking form will be available on request for a preselected lunch at concessionary prices. Alternatively, visitors are free to choose from the standard menu.

15:00 Meet at St James Parish Church, Swimbridge
15:45 End of visits

To help preserve these wonderful historic buildings, donations would be welcome: collection boxes are located near each door.

Cost £10 for members, £15 for non-members. All money collected will be to meet costs and any profits made will be given to the churches to assist in maintenance of the historic buildings.

Places will be limited so advance booking is essential – completed applications must be received by the organiser by 28 June.
