Peter Reid MSc, MA, Educational Consultant VSO, Secretary of the Plymouth Ghana Link (a charity developing inter-cultural activities between Plymouth and Sekondi-Takoradi Ghana). The two cities that are alike in so many ways: their size, both are ports, have fishing harbours and a naval base. They both share the same time GMT zone. He will be presenting a talk on ‘Black lives matter – Racism and the legacy of Slavery’ and recent work on developing links between the University of Plymouth in the UK and Cape Coast, Ghana.
