Devon’s World Heritage (Tavistock Branch)

A talk by Professor Malcolm Hart.

Devon has the highest concentration of UNESCO designations of any county in England. Among these are the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, a  biosphere reserve, a city of literature and a global geopark.

In an illustrated talk, Professor Malcolm Hart will explain why each of these areas is globally significant and how their designations were arrived at.
