A visit to the South West Airfield Heritage Trust, to be led by Brian Lane-Smith.
This visit is a follow up to the Zoom lecture given by Brian Lane-Smith on 12 February 2021. Members of the DA who missed the talk can watch it for free by following the instructions on the Video Links page.
The three hour visit will start at the Heritage Centre with a talk and film followed by free time to look round the museum. We will then share cars for a guided tour of the Airfield visiting sites of interest linked to its use during World War Two.
Refreshments are not included in the charge, but the Aviator Coffee Bar and Restaurant (Tel: 01404 890009) is nearby with food and drinks at reasonable prices.
