Eyes along the Coast (Bideford Branch)

Martin Wilson presents “Eyes Along the Coast- 25 years of the National Coastwatch Institution”.

In 1994 when two fishermen lost their lives off the Cornish coast below a recently closed Coastguard lookout, local people decided to open and restore the visual watch. Boscastle is the most easterly NCI station on the north coast of Cornwall and our speaker has been a volunteer there for fifteen years.
