Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July at 11:00: Butlers Farm, Chittlehamholt. Surveying species
rich grassland. It may take two days to do species lists for all the fields.
Directions to the farm: Follow A377 from Umberleigh towards Portsmouth Arms, just before P. Arms turn left at Kingford Bridge SS62372/19203 (rooting.tile.sumbeam) follow to T junction SS64420/20509, turn right then take track to farm on right at SS64923/20338 (gateway.presented.truffles) to parking place SS64841/20237 (bystanders.give.curiosity).
Parking space is limited, so please make sure you tell the leader if you wish to attend.
Bring packed lunch, appropriate footwear and clothing, as well as sufficient water, sun-block, insect repellent or other essentials required for a day outdoors. Please contact the leader if you wish to attend – meeting details can sometimes change at short notice and if the weather forecast looks poor the meeting may have to be cancelled. This event is not suitable for dogs.
