Field trip to The Maer, Exmouth (Botany Section)

Details of this event have changed from those previously announced.

This will be a joint meeting with the Exmouth Wildlife Group. EWG have made additional arrangements for the day, including an introductory talk, plant lists from previous surveys plus refreshments (all vegetarian). This will be hosted at Sideshore Community Hub, Queens Drive, Exmouth (SY00528008; What3Words: ranch.leaps.relate). We have been asked to assemble at Sideshore, between 10 – 10.30am.

EWG’S arrangements for the day:

Coffee/tea and biscuits will be served from 10.00 am and throughout the day at the Sideshore Community Hub.
10.30 Introductions and task discussion at the Sideshore Community Hub
12.30 onwards : Light lunch will be provided in the Sideshore Community Hub
If you would prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own food.

Please do not use the car park at Sideshore.

Botany Section meetings are from 11.00 a.m. to approximately 4.00 p.m., unless otherwise stated. Bring packed lunch, appropriate footwear and clothing, as well as sufficient water, sun-block, insect repellent or other essentials required for a day outdoors. Please contact the leader if you wish to attend – meeting details can sometimes change at short notice and if the weather forecast looks poor the meeting may have to be cancelled. You should also check with the leader if you wish to bring your dog.
