Field trip to West Yelland (Botany Section)

A brisk, level, 1.5 km walk out to a tiny patch of rich salt-marsh, which is the only place where all five confirmed local species of Glasswort have reliably been found in previous years. Meet in the lay-by on the B3233, just north of Instow (at SS 47976 31256). Note that there is a 3 hour limit on parking in this lay-by.

Bring appropriate footwear and clothing, as well as sufficient water, sun-block, insect repellent or other essentials required. Please contact the leader if you wish to attend – meeting details can sometimes change at short notice and if the weather forecast looks poor the meeting may have to be cancelled. You should also check with the leader if you wish to bring your dog.
