It was intermittently operational from the 1790s until 1951. Since 1984 it has been the subject of a volunteer restoration project. Please note that there may be some rough ground so appropriate footwear is advised.
The cost of the tour will be £ 5.00 per person payable when booking. Because all our visits have limited capacity, we are obliged to restrict the numbers accepted on any visit. Bookings will be taken in order of receipt.
