New Year Gathering 2025 (Exeter Branch)

Exeter Branch’s New Year Gathering will again be held at the Cowick Barton.

A ‘Country Man’s’ buffet will be preceded by a talk by the popular raconteur, David Pugsley. “The Duel of Haldon when the Judge Shot the Doctor” is a dramatic account of the last known duel in Devon when Judge John Jeffcott fatally wounded Dr Peter Hennis at Haldon racecourse in 1833.

The cost per person is £21 and there is a cash bar. Booking is essential.

Please note that there is no wheelchair access to the meeting room.
