Not Just Riddles – the Other Treasures of the Exeter Book.
An illustrated talk by Lily Neal. The Exeter Book – the earliest book of English literature anywhere in the world – is best known for its 96 riddles but also contains about 40 other poems.
Lily Neal, who owns Topsham Bookshop, is an Anglo-Saxon scholar, a teacher, a comic poet, a musician, a graphic designer and an entertainer.
