To be held by Zoom video conferencing
Richard Parker of Historic Building Recording and Interpretation will give a talk entitled “Reconstruction Drawings: Interpreting the past in smears and scratches”.
Reconstruction drawings are an important tool for illustrating the appearance of lost buildings and townscapes, to people them and show how they were used and experienced at different periods.
This presentation, using the author’s own drawings, illustrates how evidence is gathered from a variety of sources and collated to tell the stories of a variety of sites and buildings.
