South-West Peatlands Restoration Project (Tavistock & W Devon Branch)

Peatlands globally store more carbon than all the world’s forests combined, but when they dry out, they release carbon and other greenhouse gases. George Kohler and Dr Martin Gillard will explain how the South-West Peatland Partnership is working to restore degraded peatland across West Penwith, Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and Exmoor.

DA members £3, non-members are welcome at £5. Refreshments provided.
