£3 – £3.50
Event Navigation
Devon author Philip Algar’s talk will be based on his book – Stumbling Through Wartime Childhood – which is part autobiography and part fiction. It deals with the story of a small boy growing up in Torquay during the war and his subsequent move to bomb-ravaged London in 1948. Those who experienced these years will remember them with nostalgia, while younger members in the audience will be intrigued by details of a bygone age.
DA members £3; non-members £3.50. Includes tea and biscuits.
