Summer Excursion to Sidbury Mill (E Devon Branch)

There has been a mill in Sidbury since the 13th century and today it is a still a working water mill, we invite you to join us for a look inside.  River conditions permitting, you will be able to see the role of the water wheel in powering the milling equipment. Hear about the history of the mill and how they are preserving part of our food history for today’s discerning bakers.

Sidbury Mill has extensive grounds and the owners have been recognised with an award for their conservation efforts.

There will be a charge of £15, £10 of which will be used by the Mill for charitable purposes. Donations above this amount are welcome. A tea/coffee with cakes is included. If visitors have dietary requirements then the Mill owners need to know at least two weeks in advance. The owners are able to accommodate those with mobility issues but it will help them if they have prior notification if possible.

Numbers are limited. Booking and payment in advance is required, contact the organiser for details. Note that as of the end of April this event is fully booked, but a reserve list is being kept.
