The Fiddle Tunes of William Andrews (Music & Folklore Section)

Wren Music & DA – The Dartmoor Fiddler

A tribute to William Andrews, the Dartmoor Fiddler from Sheepstor, who in his late 80’s allowed Sabine Baring-Gould to collect 29 traditional folk tunes – of which many did not have words, because he never learnt them whilst playing his fiddle.

Wren Music has painstakingly pulled the tunes together and this is a tribute to both collector and player.
