A talk  “The History of Exeter Airport” by Geoff Myers (managing director of the airport 1991-2007).

Lunch in a Thorverton pub after the meeting is planned.

DA members £3.00, non-members £5.00.


Directions: From the A396 Exeter-to-Tiverton road, take the turning W for Thorverton by the Ruffwell Arms pub/restaurant. Follow the road through Latchmore Green, past the cricket ground on the left, and follow the road to the right into Silver Street. Thorverton Memorial Hall is a red brick building on the left just before you reach the very centre of the village. The bridge over the stream by the hall leads to the free car park. There is ample room in the hall and no advance booking is necessary. Routine facilities are available.
