A talk by Dr Richard Porter.

The removal of vast quantities of sand and shingle by coastal dredging at the turn of the 20th century led to the decline of this historic south Devon fishing village. Richard Porter will talk about the dramatic effect of poorly understood maritime engineering practices on coastal communities.
