The Way of the Wharves (Bideford Branch)

A Bideford Arts project. The speaker Michael Teare leads the WOTW team. He is a marine ecologist and is passionate about maritime history.
The Way of the Wharves charity was established in 2020 to advance information and education about the industrial and maritime heritage of the wharves at East the Water and the Torridge Estuary.
The talk will be held in the Kingsley Room at the Burton. Places are limited and must be booked by Friday 24 September and will be available on a ‘first come first served’ basis, it will also be available by Zoom. Any changes will be posted here.
Please note that a contribution presently £1 (DA members) £3 (non-members) is requested by all attending to help cover costs. For the time being, there will be no costs for joining ‘Zoom’ meetings.
