The witchcraft series: fear, myth and magic. (Lit & Art Section)

An illustrated talk by Anne Jackson (www.annejackson.co.uk). Anne is an exceptionally talented textile artist, working in knotted tapestry and exhibiting nationally and internationally.

For some years she has been pursuing a long-term project, entitled “The Witchcraft Series” exploring the power that the idea of “the witch” holds in our culture, both as a metaphor for our fears and as a representation of social injustice towards women. She is a lively, entertaining speaker – strongly recommended.
