An event held jointly with members of the Somerset Industrial Archaeological Society. To be led by Nigel Overton, former curator of Plymouth City Heritage.
This visit to Plymouth consists of:
- A morning tour around the Sutton Harbour/Barbican area. Meet at 10.30 at entrance to Elphinstone Car Park, (PL1 2NU, GR SX 483538)
- A two-hour afternoon boat trip around, but not landing on, the Breakwater, as well as Millbay Docks and the Plym Estuary. Meet at 13.45 by the Mayflower Steps (PL1 2LR, GR SX 483540) for a 14.00 boat departure.
Morning tour £3.00 each, boat trip £10.
