Event Navigation
Ernie Hoblyn will lead a walking tour of Dewerstone quarries, Tavistock and South Devon Railway link, Shaugh Bridge brickworks, and Neomi iron mine. We will follow the route of the tramway to the Dewerstone granite quarries, which includes a fairly steep walk up the incline. Also a look at the brick tunnel kiln and the Noemie ironstone mine, with adits and wheel pit.
Although we are walking on pathways or former rail track beds, they are very uneven and stout shoes or boots are recommended.
There are no toilets on the walk. Obedient dogs acceptable.

Registration is required – contact the organiser (details below)
