Visit to Ashcombe Tower, near Dawlish (Buildings Section)

A guided tour of this Arts & Crafts-Art Deco house. It was built in 1938 for Major Ralph Rayner, MP, by the architect Brian O’Rorke, who was originally an ocean liner architect. This remarkable house is still lived in by the Rayner family and still remains true to its original design.

Cost, £15 per person including tea afterwards. The gardens can be visited afterwards if you wish.
