Visit to RHS Garden Rosemoor (E Devon Branch)

Rosemoor house and garden started life as a fishing lodge and by the 1930’s the 8-acre garden around the house was being run by Lady Anne Palmer (later Berry) and her mother. In 1989 Lady Anne gifted the house, garden and a further 32 acres across the road, to the RHS who have since expanded the garden into this area producing a formal area in a woodland setting. It is well known for its “garden rooms”, 2 rose gardens and much else.
