Visit to the Peter Tavy Mine Workings (Tavistock Branch)

Chris Wordingham, who has extensive knowledge of the history of Peter Tavy and its mining heritage, will lead a short walk down to the old disused mine working along the River Tavy starting at 2:00pm. This will be followed by a visit to the historic Peter Tavy church.

It is suggested that those who would like to have lunch beforehand at the Peter Tavy Inn (at their own expense) meet there at 1:00pm.

Price £5 payable on the day. Non-members welcome.
