Meet at the Half Moon, Sheepwash for an optional lunch.
After lunch, meet at Torview Wines, Beara Farm, Sheepwash, Beaworthy EX21 5PB for a tour of the vineyard and winery. Finally, sample some of its products.
Advance booking will be essential.
The organiser writes:
I gather from the owner, Tim Gowan that the harvest should be underway by 20th September so this should be a good opportunity to see (and taste). There is a £7.50 admission charge payable on entry. Please do not send me any cheques. For those who have already confirmed the visit, and if required, lunch at the Half Moon, no action is required. For those who wish to join this tour and those who require lunch, please let me know by 13th September.
