Event Navigation
To be held by Zoom video conferencing.
A talk “What tree rings can tell us of Devon’s buildings” by Dr Andy Moir, dendrologist.
The development of dating techniques using tree rings now provides valuable insight into recent climate change, and this in turn has allowed precise dating of some of the wood used in the construction of medieval buildings. It promises to be a fascinating presentation.
