Whiddon Deer Park (Entomology Section)

Whiddon Deer Park is one of the Devon’s best parkland sites for veteran trees and we expect to see some interesting saproxylic (wood-eating) species.

Meet and leave vehicles at Whiddon Farm NT Ranger Base (SX720889) and walk in from there. So, from Easton Cross (SX719888) drive east down the lane a short way then go left up along a concrete ramp and park at Whiddon Farm. 10.00am for 10.30am start. Bring and carry packed lunches.
