We have been approached by a film production company with the following request:
“We are currently working on a six-part documentary series entitled ‘Battle Honours’ which explores the experience of six different units throughout the European and Pacific theatres of World War Two. One of these episodes focuses on the United States 101st Airborne Division.
We were wondering whether you would know of any collectors who might have artefacts relating to the 101st Airborne Division whilst they were training in Devon during the war? If so, we would be interested in getting in contact with them and asking whether they’d be happy to be filmed showcasing these artefacts in the next couple of weeks. Of course, we are closely monitoring the current situation and will only conduct filming which is in line with government safety measures.”
If anyone can help please contact hon.sec@devonassoc.org.uk
