Plymouth and District Branch report: 2016
In July the Branch visited Mount Edgcumbe Park and had lunch at the Orangery. Later Gregory Carpenter gave a talk and conducted a walk around the grounds. He commented on literary aspects of the architecture and landscape.
The Secretary’s indisposition, caused by a bereavement, meant that the programme for the Branch was late in being circulated this year. However, we are pleased to report that the DA President, Dr Todd Gray, will be visiting us and also Bob Hodgson, in relation to the Devon Flora publication.
Branch meetings continue to take place at The Athenaeum.
