Sale of Exe Island booklet

A copiously illustrated booklet* was published by the Devonshire Association to accompany the Exe Island Seminar that was held at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) on 30 April 2022.

Entitled The History of Exe Island, Exeter the booklet contains contributions from all of the speakers – John Allan, Jenny Bennett, Bill Harvey, Todd Gray, Martin Watts and Richard Parker. Beautifully designed by Delphine Jones, it attempts to span the entire rise and fall of an artificial island which became the City’s industrial hub from pre-medieval times through to the Georgian era.

Copies of the booklet can now be obtained from the Devonshire Association at the special price of £5 each, plus £1.50 for postage and packaging. Please place your orders through the Registrar via email registrar@devonassoc.org.uk or by telephone 07742 148 865.
